I’m proud to share the recent launch of BD’s 2025 Sustainability Report, a reflection of the meaningful progress we have made in delivering on our purpose of advancing the world of health. . This year was marked by significant milestones, including the successful completion of our Life Sciences transaction, positioning BD as a focused MedTech leader concentrated on the areas of care where we can make the greatest difference for patients.

We continued to innovate at scale, launching more than 125 new products and building multiple high-growth platforms across biologic drug delivery, tissue regeneration, urinary incontinence, pharmacy robotics and advanced patient monitoring. These achievements, along with recognition as a LexisNexis Top 100 Global Innovator for the fourth consecutive year, demonstrate how sustainability and business performance go hand in hand.

None of these accomplishments would be possible without the dedication, ingenuity and passion of BD associates around the world. Every day, our teams bring our purpose to life—whether developing breakthrough technologies, strengthening our operations, supporting customers, or giving back to communities. Together, we are investing in talent, expanding opportunities for growth and ensuring our associates have the resources they need to thrive while serving customers, clinicians and patients.

Our progress is being accelerated through the BD Excellence operating system, which is helping us deliver sustainable value across every dimension of our business. In FY 2025, BD Excellence strengthened safety, quality, delivery and cost performance, improving the safety of our operations while protecting the communities in which we operate, enabling record on-time, in-full service levels and more than 8% productivity gains across our manufacturing sites. We are applying the same disciplined approach to advancing our 2030+ Together We Advance goals. This includes expanding investments in renewable energy, bringing the number of BD sites using 100% renewable electricity to 50, achieving $2.4 million in annual energy savings through efficiency improvements, and partnering with suppliers to advance science-based emissions reduction targets. By embedding excellence into the way we work, we are creating a stronger foundation for long-term environmental, social and business impact.

The impact of these efforts extends far beyond our company. During FY 2025, BD supported healthier communities around the world through more than 4,600 events that helped strengthen health systems, including more than 35 million screenings for breast cancer and cervical cancer. Our supplier inclusion program supported more than 7,300 jobs across the U.S. and Puerto Rico while generating $1.9 billion in economic impact. We also contributed $15.3 million in cash and product donations to help build resilient health systems, strengthen the healthcare workforce and improve access to cancer and chronic disease detection and treatment for vulnerable populations.

As we look ahead, I am inspired by what we can accomplish together. By continuing with BD Excellence as our mindset and operating system and the collective commitment of our associates, we will accelerate progress toward our 2030+ Together We Advance goals and create a healthier future for people, patients and our planet.
