Tom Polen on Ending Cervical Cancer

More than 340,000 women lose their lives to cervical cancer each year, yet the global community has the capabilities to eliminate this cancer within our lifetime. Early detection with effective screening can help reduce this high mortality rate, which is why BD is advancing products like at-home sample self-collection, helping improve access to vulnerable populations, particularly where health disparities exist.

In a recent LinkedIn article, Tom Polen, BD Chairman, CEO and President, shares what it will take to fight – and potentially end – cervical cancer.
