FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. (March 30, 2021) – BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) (NYSE: BDX), a leading global medical technology company, today announced the appointment of Brooke Story to the position of worldwide president, BD Integrated Diagnostic Solutions, effective April 5.
In this role, Story will have responsibility for driving global strategic, operational and commercial performance and customer experience across a portfolio of solutions along the diagnostic continuum, including Specimen Management, Molecular Diagnostics, Microbiology and Women’s Health & Cancer. The Point-of-Care team will continue to be led by Kevin Kelly, senior vice president. Story and Kelly will both report to Dave Hickey, president of BD Life Sciences.

Most recently, Story served as president, Pelvic Health and Gastric Therapies, at Medtronic, where she led the organization in bringing life-restoring solutions for pelvic floor disorders to patients around the globe. Over her more than 15 years with Medtronic, she held several other leadership roles, including vice president of Sales, Great Lakes Region, Neuroscience Group and vice president of Upstream Marketing, Neuroscience.
Story earned an MBA from the University of Michigan and her bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Tennessee.
